The Hermit's Walking Tour of Knaresborough August 2019

 

It was the Summer of '19 The Hermit & His Acolyte had been here & there and there & here. The Hermit had always wanted to pay respects to a fellow Hermit & also show off some other bits of History.

Well the thing is and let me tell you, this is the thing, they did exactly that! 

  

Many Joined the Hermit of Harrogate on his merry St Robert Walking Tour. They embarked on a pilgrimage meeting at St Johns Church (later changed to the Market Place & St Johns Church info was disseminated whilst at Knaresborough Castle- where you could spot it over yonder!) They then progressed to St Robert's beautiful dwelling place by the river Nidd. The Walk was quite hilly in places but many joined us, even a baby!

This event took place on several Fridays throughout September and culminated in it being a part of Knaresborough Renaissance Festival. Who knows maybe we'll be invited back next year... maybe we won't. You can catch rare glimpses of The Hermit in action on this tour in our new video at the main page.
